If you missed your chance to get the Friday Original paddle last Black Friday, don't worry—you can still grab a great deal this Christmas. Friday is offering two Original paddles (plus two free gifts) for just $95.

Usually retailing for $99 on its own, the Friday Original is one of the best beginner paddles I've tested. With the two free gifts worth around $45, this is a hard deal to beat if you're after value for money.

Grab the deal if:

  • You want a beginner paddle to carry you to intermediate level:

the Friday is ideal for beginners and a solid option as you advance your game.

  • You want to practice with a friend:

the 2-for-$95 deal makes this one of the best pickleball sets in 2024—perfect if you're learning with someone else.

  • You want a carbon fiber paddle at a budget-friendly price:

you'll struggle to find a better carbon fiber paddle for less than $50.

The Friday Original is one of the best pickleball paddles you can buy at this price point ($99 $47.5 each with the 2-for-$95 deal).

If you're new to the game, the Friday Original will start you off right, and the advanced carbon fiber will support you as your game improves. It offers excellent spin, while the 8.3 oz packs a nice power boost—great as you start to introduce more power.

The Friday Original has a really comfortable, tennis racket-like grip. If you're coming from tennis like me, this makes for an easy transition into pickleball. Plus, the curved top allows for a smooth swing that cuts down on drag.

The Friday includes many of the features you'd expect in paddles that cost $100 more, like the JOOLA Ben Johns Perseus. The Friday is a solid buy even at its standard price, so the Christmas deal makes it even better value for money.

Is the Friday Original Christmas deal worth it?

Absolutely. Even without the 2-for-$95 deal this Christmas, the Friday Original is the best-value beginner paddle on the market. You'll struggle to find a better beginner-to-low intermediate paddle at this price. Plus, you're getting two free extras worth $45.

It's easy to swing and comfortable for beginners just learning the game. Plus, the carbon fiber face provides the spin and power early intermediates need as they step up their games. This means you won't need to upgrade straight away, saving you even more money in the long run.

You're making a big saving with the Friday deal, so why not get some new pickleball accessories as well? If the Friday Original isn't for you, check out our list of the best Christmas pickleball deals.
