Big news! Pickleheads is now USA Pickleball's official court and game finder. This means you'll now have access to the most reliable and accurate database of pickleball courts ever created. Finding your next court or game will now be easier than ever.

We're combining our 13,984 court listings (and counting) with USA Pickleball's network of 2,200 ambassadors who will maintain court and schedule information on Pickleheads. This gives you access to more courts and games than ever before. Wherever you are, playing pickleball is just a click away.

Pickleheads is replacing Places2Play, USAP's previous court finder. Make sure to migrate over to Pickleheads to get up-to-date court and schedule information.

You'll also see a link on the "Places to Play" page of the USA Pickleball site. This directs you to the Pickleheads court finder where you can find, join, and organize games in your area.

Updated schedules and games are coming soon to Pickleheads so be sure to follow your favorite courts so you don't miss a new opportunity to play!

Why we're partnering with USA Pickleball

Since founding Pickleheads in 2021, our mission has always been to help you along your pickleball journey. We do this by making it easy to find courts, discover games, and connect with other players in your area.

After building our initial court database, our platform grew almost entirely from crowdsourced edits from players like you—over 60,000 to date! However, with pickleball growing so fast, courts are constantly changing and it takes the whole community working together to keep everything up to date.

We realized that bringing USAP's 2,200 ambassadors onto Pickleheads to update court and schedule information would bring us one step closer to our goal: one reliable platform for all players. That's something our sport needs—especially now with nearly 14 million players annually!

If you're new to pickleball, your first step is finding a court or game to join. By making this as easy as possible, we hope tens of millions more players will pick up a paddle.

For more experienced players, our tools allow you to keep up to date with new courts in your area, play games at your level, and find courts when you're traveling.

What's next?

Our exciting partnership with USA Pickleball is about more than just creating the most accurate database of courts. We hope to enhance all aspects of your pickleball experience.

We'll be making our free organizing tools available to USAP ambassadors and members. This lets them set up play, automate signups, build waitlists, collect payments, run round robins, and more.

The Pickleheads platform is ideal for USAP members who organize large groups of players—a task that often takes up a lot of time. Our free organizing tools allow you to coordinate play quickly and easily, giving you more time on the courts.

We're also launching co-branded content on how to play pickleball, skill level ratings, rules, and gameplay strategies. All of these will incorporate any updates to USAP's official guidance and rule book. This gives you up-to-date information as you're learning and advancing your game.

Lastly, we're launching periodic surveys in the Pickleheads newsletter where you can share your opinions and help shape the future of the game.

USA Pickleball takes your feedback into account when making important decisions, like whether pickleball will move to rally scoring or not (a hot topic at the moment).

About USA Pickleball

USA Pickleball is the National Governing Body (NGB) for the sport of pickleball in the United States. Its mission is to promote the development and growth of the sport.

USA Pickleball was formed in 1984, making it the world's first national pickleball organization. They published the first official pickleball rulebook in that same year.

The modern game we all enjoy today is thanks to their tireless work over several decades. We're grateful for their efforts to grow pickleball and maintain standards even as the sport has evolved at a crazy rate in the last five years.

USAP is committed to making a positive impact on the pickleball community by supporting initiatives like court enhancements, educational youth programming, and inclusive play.

That's why we at Pickleheads are so proud to be partnering with USA Pickleball. As part of this partnership, we'll be building new features for adaptive and youth programming to support USAP's good work and make pickleball accessible to as many people as possible.

Bottom line

Our goal for this partnership is simple. We want to help you the pickleball player find more courts and games, and ultimately get more out of your pickleball journey. What better way to achieve this than by giving you access to the largest database of courts and games in the US?

We're truly honored that USA Pickleball has chosen us to help them and their nationwide ambassadors pave the way for the evolution of pickleball.
