Looking for the best deals in pickleball this Black Friday? Whether you're shopping for gifts or investing in your game, there's no better time to grab a deal.

While Black Friday 2024 isn't until November 29, it's not too early to start planning for the big day. I'm already working with brands to bring you the best deals. I'm also monitoring gear prices to see if they change in the lead-up. So, when the day arrives, you'll know which deals are real and which aren't.

I'll keep updating this article as the deals roll in, so be sure to check back.

When is Black Friday?

This year, Black Friday takes place on Friday, November 29. It's almost one month before Christmas, so you'll have plenty of time to get your orders shipped and wrapped.

When is Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday is always the Monday after Thanksgiving, which makes it December 2 this year. This is a day when online retailers offer large discounts and is the online equivalent of Black Friday.

When to look for Black Friday deals

Despite the name, Black Friday isn't just one day. Deals can start long before the actual date, and some even continue well into December.

Most brands haven't announced their deals just yet, but I'll be updating this article as soon as we know more.

What were the deals last year?

Let's take a look at the best deals from last year's Black Friday weekend. This should give you an idea of what's to expect, though I'm working to get even better deals for 2024.

CRBN

CRBN is easily one of my favorite brands in all of pickleball right now. I play with their paddles regularly, especially the CRBN-3X Power Series, and often feature them in my lists of the best pickleball paddles.

Last year, they offered 25% off anything in their store for Black Friday and beyond—all the way until December 3rd. That's a saving of over $60 on one of their new paddles.

Six Zero

An Australian brand that launched earlier this year, Six Zero already have some great paddles, including the best overall in 2024, the Double Black Diamond Control. This brand is at the cutting edge of modern paddle technology.

Last year, they offered 20% off three of their most popular paddles. The sale ran until Cyber Monday (Nov 27).

Erne

Victory Sports Technologies produces the Erne, the best pickleball machine in 2024. Unlike most machines on the market, this one isn't a repurposed tennis machine—it's designed specifically to improve your pickleball game.

With a 150-ball capacity, the Erne can be programmed to test and train every aspect of your game, right up to the most technical shots. Plus, the dedicated Erne phone app makes this the most dynamic machine I've tested so far.

Their deal was short and sweet last year, offering $100 off the Erne machine—only on Black Friday.

Selkirk

Selkirk is another top pickleball brand and creator of one of my favorite power paddles: the Power Air Invikta (used by world #3 Tyson McGuffin). While they make great paddles, they almost never go on sale.

Their deal last year ran from November 22-28, offering 20% off three of their best-selling paddles: the Evo 2.0, the Halo, and the Vanguard 2.0.

Their elite Project 003 paddle was also discounted by an impressive 33%—down to $222. They also offered up to 40% off their clothing, accessories, and portable nets.

JOOLA

JOOLA is one of pickleball's top brands, known for signing world #1 Ben Johns in 2022. Ben's signature paddle, the Perseus, is one of my favorite paddles.

Last year, they offered 15% off their entire product line. They also gave away free JOOLA sweatbands to anyone who spent over $100. If you spent over $250, you got a free fanny pack. Then, the first 100 people to spend over $500 got a free camping chair worth $50.

Paddletek

Paddletek has done a lot to get paddle technology where it is today, especially when it comes to bringing high-end tech to beginners.

For Black Friday last year, they offered a whole week of discounts. This included 15% off their Tempest Wave Pro v3 and Tempest Reign Pro v3 paddles, as well as 10% off all apparel.

Bread & Butter

Bread & Butter is one of my favorite new brands in pickleball. Their paddles, which they claim are "designed in outer space", exploded onto the scene with their unique, psychedelic look.

Last year, they offered 30% off the Bread & Butter Filth and 20% off two other popular paddles.

Vatic Pro

Vatic Pro makes elite-level paddles at significantly lower prices than the competition. Two of their paddles even made it into my overall list of the best pickleball paddles. They offered $20 off several of their paddles last year.

Pickleball Central

Based in Washington just up the road from the birthplace of pickleball, Pickleball Central is the biggest pickleball retailer on the internet. They've got everything from the latest pro-level paddles to pickleball-themed gifts and clothing.

Last year, their deals varied from 20-30% off across paddles, bags, and nets from some of the biggest brands in pickleball.

Bison

Bison make paddles built like bison; they're strong and able to stand up to hours on the court. Their signature graphite paddle, the Bison, generates good power for a budget price.

Last year, they dropped the prices of the Summit and Rampage paddles by 20%. They also offered a 20% discount on their complete paddle bundles.

Nettie

Nettie designs beautiful, retro-cool gear to make you stand out on the courts. I love their style so much, especially their retro "Ashbury" design. Last year, Nettie offered 20% off all of their products for Black Friday.

Prolite

Prolite has the longest pickleball history of any brand on this list, having basically started the paddle industry over four decades ago.

Last Black Friday, they sold their brand new paddle, the K2, for $125 (normally $185)—for one day only. The following day (Saturday), they offered a free XL Tour Bag (usually worth $140) to anyone who bought the K2.

For Cyber Monday, they offered their Stealth GS1 paddle (usually worth $150) along with a $25 gift card for just $125.

Volair

Volair, co-founded by pickleball pro Julian Arnold, makes high-end carbon fiber paddles known for their great control. Last year, they offered 15% off their Mach 1 and Mach 2 paddles for the whole week of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Spartus

Spartus is a relative newcomer to pickleball, but they already have a devoted following for their attention to detail, clever designs, and affordable prices.

Last year for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, they offered $10 off their paddles.

Ronbus

Ronbus produces a wide range of high-quality, raw carbon fiber paddles, always with the latest paddle tech. It's like they can recreate almost any big-name paddle out there, and offer it for a fraction of the price.

Last year, they had awesome deals on their paddles for an entire week, ranging from $30-50 off. This deal could be combined with our existing PICKLEHEADS offer code for an extra $20 off.

OnCourt OffCourt

Veterans of premium tennis equipment, Oncourt Offcourt now has their own range of pickleball gear, from paddles and balls to training aids and nets. Their portable net, the PickleNet Deluxe, is one of the best pickleball nets on the market.

Last year, they offered free shipping on all orders over $150 for the whole month of November.

Vulcan

Vulcan Pickleball produces the largest range of paddles of any manufacturer, all of which are made right here in the US. They make everything from youth paddles up to the most advanced on the market.

Last year, they offered varying deals on a select few products, including $60 off one of their backpacks.

Diadem

Diadem Sports started out making high-performance tennis gear before moving into pickleball in 2019. They now have a full range of paddles from affordable beginner sets to premium offerings.

Last year, they offered 30% off several of their paddles.

Recess

Recess Pickleball are renowned for their stylish, unique paddle designs. Their paddle sets and bags make awesome gifts for any fashion-conscious picklehead.

Last year, they knocked 20% off everything on their site, including their gorgeous sets and one of my personal favorites, the "Vista" paddle.

Are Black Friday deals actually worth it?

We all know that brands can be a little misleading with their Black Friday deals. Some increase their prices briefly in the run-up, before dropping them again so it looks like a discount.

To help you decide if a deal is actually worth it, I'll be tracking prices from now until Black Friday. Stay tuned.
