The 11SIX24 Ultré Power 2 is the brand's most premium paddle to date, and after several sessions with it, it's easy to see why. This is a high-end paddle built for players who want easy power, massive spin generation, and a responsive feel that can take over points in a hurry.

The standout feature is 11SIX24's proprietary HexGrit surface. Not only does it generate exceptional spin, it's designed to maintain that performance far longer than traditional carbon fiber textures. If you're an aggressive player looking for a premium paddle with serious pop, the Ultré Power 2 is for you.

It comes in at $210 but you can save $10 with our exclusive 11SIX24 discount code.

My verdict4.5star iconThe 11SIX24 Ultré Power 2 is one of the most impressive pickleball paddles for spin I've tested. A lot of players from the intermediate level and up will love the combination of elite spin generation, easy power, and a massive sweet spot. Personally, I tend to prefer paddles with more dwell and a softer feel. The Ultré feels crisp, stiff, and extremely lively, and the ball jumps off the face quickly. This will appeal to players who want a firmer power paddle for aggressive play, and are not so worried about trying to hit soft drops, resets, or shape the ball exactly where you want it. If you want more of a control paddle, you can always grab the 11SIX24 Vapor Power 2.

Buy or pass?

Buy if:

  • You want elite spin generation:

the HexGrit surface is the real deal, producing awesome spin that’s designed to hold up for hundreds of hours.

  • You like poppy, aggressive paddles:

the ball explodes off the face with very little effort – serves, counters, speed-ups, and putaways all come naturally.

  • You want a premium paddle with a huge sweet spot:

the Ultré feels remarkably consistent across the face – you get a predictable response even on off-center contact.

Pass if:

  • You prefer softer paddles with more dwell:

this is not a plush, ball-pocketing paddle – the face is firm and lively, with less dwell than softer foam-core options like the Holbrook Fuze.

  • You struggle with overly poppy paddles:

touch shots and resets can be difficult if you prefer a more controlled feel – see the best touch paddles.

  • You're a beginner:

start with something easier to control from our top paddles for beginners guide – you might save a lot of money too.

The HexGrit surface steals the show

The first thing that stood out during testing was the spin. The HexGrit face texture is one of the grittiest surfaces I've played with, rivaling the amazing Honolulu Crystal Blue Grit. It translates directly into shot-making on the court. Topspin drives dip aggressively, serves jump off the bounce, and passing shots that feel long somehow find their way back inside the baseline.

What impressed me even more was how little the surface changed after multiple sessions. After about eight hours of play, the paddle felt virtually the same as when I unboxed it. Many carbon fiber paddles begin losing texture surprisingly quickly, but the Ultré appears to deliver on its promise of long-lasting spin generation.

The other standout characteristic is the pop. This paddle is lively. Whether you're countering at the kitchen, speeding up out of a dink exchange, or driving from the baseline, it creates easy power with very little effort. Players who enjoy an aggressive style will appreciate how much offense the paddle generates.

It's fairly pierced at $210 (use our $10 discount to take it down to $200). Right in the same price range as some of the standout paddles on the market – Honolulu J2CR, Holbrook Fuze, Bread & Butter Loco. This is a great investment for a paddle that will outlast most of the competition, saving you money on a new paddle.

How the 11SIX24 Ultré Power 2 plays

Category Rating Notes
Power 9/10 Huge pop and easy power generation. Not quite at the level of the RPM Q2 or Selkirk Boomstik for maximum baseline power, but still among the stronger paddles available.
Control 8.5/10 The sweet spot is large and consistent, but the lively face requires more precision on drops, resets, and touch shots.
Spin 10/10 The HexGrit surface delivers elite spin generation and appears far more durable than traditional carbon fiber textures.
Forgiveness 8.5/10 A broad sweet spot keeps the paddle consistent across the face, though the high pop can make mishits more noticeable than softer paddles.
Weighting 9/10 Well balanced and maneuverable. Fast enough for hands battles while still offering enough mass behind the ball.
Grip 9/10 Comfortable grip shape with sufficient handle length for two-handed backhands and extended play sessions.
Durability 10/10 The HexGrit technology gives the paddle a major durability advantage by maintaining spin performance significantly longer than most competitors.
Aerodynamics 8.5/10 Quick through the air and easy to maneuver, though not quite as fast as the quickest paddles.

✅ Pros

Elite spin generation

The HexGrit surface is one of the best spin technologies currently available. It creates tremendous spin while promising significantly longer-lasting performance than traditional textured carbon fiber.

Easy power and pop

The ball jumps off the face with minimal effort. Aggressive players will love how easy it is to generate pace on serves, drives, counters, and speed-ups.

Massive sweet spot

The paddle feels remarkably consistent across the face. Even off-center contact remains playable and predictable.

Premium construction

Everything about the paddle feels high-end. From the finish quality to the performance characteristics, it plays like a true premium paddle.

❌ Considerations

Not ideal for players who prefer dwell

If you like the ball sitting on the paddle face longer, this may not be the paddle for you. The response is crisp and immediate.

Touch shots require adjustment

The high pop makes the paddle exciting offensively, but it can make soft resets and delicate drops harder to execute consistently.

Premium price

At $210, you're paying for top-tier technology and performance. If you want something cheaper, you have excellent alternatives available at lower prices. See our guide to the best-value pickleball paddles.

11SIX24 Ultré Power 2 price – is it worth it?

I definitely think the Ultré Power 2 justifies its $210 price tag. The spin performance is top tier, the construction is premium, and the paddle delivers the kind of power and responsiveness many competitive players are willing to pay $250 for.

Sure, there are excellent paddles for around $150 – like the Maverix Havik 2. The reason to spend extra on the Ultré isn't because all cheaper paddles can't compete. It's because you're getting an aggressive performance along with durability. This paddle won't wear down fast, so it saves you buying a brand-new paddle again in a couple months' time.
