Looking for a reliable place to buy pickleball paddles or accessories? You have plenty of options both online and in-store, but some places simply offer a better shopping experience, a better selection, and lower prices. So, if you're serious about pickleball, it's well worth shopping around.

Today I'm discussing one of my favorite retailers in pickleball: JustPaddles. I'll share my experience with them across ease of ordering, assortment, pricing, and more. Plus, I'll explore what sets them apart from other retailers.

Give them a look before making your next gear investment.

Who are JustPaddles?

JustPaddles is a one-stop shop for all things pickleball, specializing in pickleball paddles. You can buy new and used paddles, accessories, sets, and bundles directly from their site.

You can read and watch in-depth reviews and articles on their JustPickleball blog, as well as get personalized paddle recommendations.

I recommend them for many reasons: they have a great inventory of paddles, offer free shipping both ways, and their buying experience is top-notch. My favorite thing they offer (what really sets them apart) is their "try your paddle" program. More on that later.

My own experience with them has been great so far. They're good people and serious about customer service. The paddle I ordered came lightning fast—the very next day!

What do they offer?

Paddle range

Their range of paddles is impressive. They sell the latest releases, exclusive paddles, and used paddles too. All of their used paddles come with a 30-day risk-free guarantee, so you can return them for a full refund if you're not happy.

Price match

If you see a paddle or accessory priced lower on an authorized rival site, JustPaddles will match that price.

Shipping

JustPaddles offers free UPS ground shipping on every order, with no minimum. That's attractive for shoppers who are used to paying for delivery below $50 at least.

Ease of ordering

Ordering my paddle was a breeze. I like the layout of the site, the detailed info on each paddle, and the quick and easy buying portal. It's cleaner and more user-friendly than Amazon.

Return policy

JustPaddles offers free returns too, yet another reason why I like them for buying pickleball gear. They cover the return shipping and there's no restocking fee. This is a big deal-sweetener when you're deciding which site to buy from.

"Try your paddle" program

They also offer a Paddle Assurance Program on new paddles which lets you try out your paddle for 30 days before deciding if you like it or not.

While it costs an extra $14.99 at the time of purchase, it means you can send the new paddle back if it's not for you. Considering the price of some paddles, this is a really nice option to have. If you do make a return, you'll receive a full refund of the paddle (with free shipping, of course).

Even better, if you keep your paddle, JustPaddles returns your $14.99 in the form of a gift card.

This is a really great program. Having play-tested over 100 pickleball paddles so far, I can tell you no two are the same. It's impossible to tell how a paddle will play just by reading reviews and specs online. You have to put it on the court.

I like this program because it lets you test multiple paddles at a small cost and ensure it's the right one for you. The last thing you want is to get stuck with a $250 paddle that doesn't fit your game.

Customer service

This is another area I'm impressed with. Not only do they have paddle experts on hand to answer queries, but they also offer support through live chat, email, and phone.

I was surprised to see the live chat button right at the top of each browsing page. I find that many retailers often bury instructions on how to get in contact.

Education

JustPaddles is not just for shoppers. On the JustPickleball blog, you'll find helpful articles on how to play pickleball, as well as some high-quality paddle reviews. If you've read any of my reviews before, you'll know how much detail I put into them, and JustPaddles does the same.

I'm also a fan of the paddle coach tool. This helps you find a paddle based on your level and play style, which is extra handy if you're unsure which one to get.

When you input your preferences, the coach tool automatically filters the paddles that match what you're looking for. It's a great tool that's similar to our Pickleheads paddle quiz.

Personalization

JustPaddles lets you customize your paddle, which not many retailers offer.

You can make your own end-cap stickers, have your paddle laser engraved, or have overgrip or edge guard tape installed so your paddle arrives ready to hit the courts.

Why buy your paddles from JustPaddles?

Personally, I find JustPaddles much easier to use than Amazon and most other pickleball equipment sites. The ordering experience is great and the shipping is free and fast.

Plus, they seem to have a very knowledgeable customer service team, who are on hand to answer any questions on the spot. As I said earlier, they don't hide their live chat button, which is a big plus in my book.

What makes JustPaddles unique?

I think JustPaddles' risk-free "try your paddle" program, free shipping, and customer service make them unique. I also like the huge range of paddles they offer.

Bottom line

These days, there are plenty of pickleball websites selling paddles, publishing blogs, and reviewing equipment. Some sites do certain things great, but few do it all as well as JustPaddles.

For me, the whole experience is 5 out of 5 stars.
