Wednesday Intermediate Gauntlet Night 🎾 6 week season starting Wed 8/7 - 12/8 (weather pending) Note: Because this is Gauntlet format , if you would like to BRING A GUEST JUST DM ME AND I WILL ADD THEM MANUALLY to the list! PLS ALSO ENTER VIA CAR PARK ENTRY to get your NAME CHECKED OFF AND ENTERED IN FOR MATCHUPS 😊 WHO IS THIS FOR? MINIMUM SKILL LEVEL EXPECTED IS ADVANCED BEGINNER. This session is for players who already know the basics and want to challenge themselves against others at a similar level in a competitive and social setting. YOU SHOULD KNOW THE RULES, SCORING AND BE ABLE TO CONFIDENTLY PLAY A RALLY. If you are a first timer or looking for a chill social, please attend our Indoor Session where coaching will be provided. HOW WILL MATCHES BE ORGANISED? This is a mixed doubles ladder competition played on an individual basis. Each match, you’ll be teamed up with new partners across multiple rounds of 12 minutes and matched against players of a similar skill level to see where you stand; keeping games close, challenging, and fun. FLEXIBLE PARTICIPATION: You’re not locked into playing every week. Simply register your availability week by week, and we’ll take care of scheduling. You can jump in at any stage during the season, and the ladder will adjust accordingly. To qualify for end-of-season prizes, players must participate in at least 4 out of the 6 weeks. PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place male and female across 6 weeks based on win percentage and point differentials with the best 4 out of 6 weeks counted 1st Prize: 6 Free Sessions across all Matchpoint Events 2nd Prize: 4 Free Sessions across all Matchpoint Events 3rd Prize: 2 Free Sessions across all Matchpoint Events LOCATION: Bennelong Sports Centre ($100 Million Sports Facility) TIME: 6:45PM- 9:00PM - you may arrive early to warm up. Round matchups will start at 6:55pm. MATCHES WILL HAVE A HARD CUT OFF TIME AT 9:00pm due to imposed noise restrictions COURTS: 6 Outdoor Courts 🎾 with plenty of space to rest, mingle and play! Courts will be barricaded with 65m netting to ensure balls are kept within the courts and ensure smooth matchplay.
