All general pickleball rules apply, but they will be enforced as in casual play. My goal is to ensure an easygoing, honest, friendly, and competitive game. If you’re causing trouble or not respecting other players, as an organizer, you’ll receive a warning and have the right to remove anyone from the group and session. We want to maintain a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone to enjoy the game. As with any sport, there’s a risk of injury. Delays will result in your placement on the sitting-out list. If you’re running late, kindly inform me or mark yourself as “bye” on the list. If you need to leave early, please remove yourself from the list to miss the remaining rounds. I intend to establish clear boundaries to prevent any potential conflicts. Any violation of these boundaries will lead to your expulsion from the group. - Three no-shows and no calls - Six dropouts within six months - Repeated tardiness without prior notification - Significant conflicts or fights - Failure to comply with the Clovis Unified School District (CUSD) conduct regulations Please ensure you check your phone for your court and teammates for each round. After each match, input your scores. The team that finishes first in the halfway point should declare “Rally Play” to expedite the process and minimize unnecessary waiting. Our objective is least 7 complete matches or more! - 5:00-5:30 pm: Assist in setting up the nets - 5:30-6:00 pm: Warm up - 6:00 pm: Roll call and announcements - 6:15 pm: Game start! The game concludes after 9-10 rounds or at 9 p.m. Arriving late will result in your immediate placement on the first bye list! We require two helpers to set up the games. These helpers will play for no charge for their compensated time and must arrive between 5:00 and 5:15 p.m. As a dedicated Pickleball player, I am committed to maintaining the success of this fantastic group. I have dedicated my time and resources to running this group, as it is not a business. If you would like to contribute your time or make a larger donation for nets, balls, equipment, medals, and prizes, please let me know. Any other donations you can make are also welcome. Please contact me regarding donations. I wanted to ensure fairness and find a solution. To address this, we’ve implemented a $20 fee for the entire game session!
