Cole Harbour Place on Forest Hills Parkway has three beautiful new Pickleball-only courts and three Tennis/Pickleball courts for a total of six courts. This group is for beginners and intermediates to set up play times and communiate with one another so we know who is planning to show up at any given time. Admins can set up games and invite people to join and players can also arrange impromptu games using the Group Chat function. For the summer of 2025, we've set up recurring game times of Mondays and Wednesdays 10am-12pm and Thursdays and Saturdays 4-6pm. Players will get invites four days prior to each session. There are no costs to play on these outdoor courts and there is no DUPR tracking. These fun games are meant for friendly social engagement and, of course, exercising your Pickleball prowess. We can't reserve courts, so if others are playing and all the courts are occupied, we would need to set our paddles in position to be included in their play and vice versa as long as the other players are amenable to that. We also have the option to set up on the adjacent tennis/Pickleball courts if they are not in use. Why are we called Melonheads? I'm glad your asked! Natasha kindly brought sliced watermelon for us all one sunny hot day and we thought we should take our first group picture. Now it is obvious, right? I ask you: How could we be called anything else?
