Smith Mountain Lake YMCA of Franklin County is one of the most popular places to play pickleball in Moneta, VA. There are 12 asphalt and acrylic courts. 5 are outdoors and 7 are indoors. The lines are permanent, and portable nets are available. Players have access to restrooms, water, wheelchair accessibility, locker rooms, trainers or lessons, lights, and youth programming. A membership is required to play. The courts cannot be reserved. The SML YMCA is a Selkirk sponsored facility with Selkirk loaner paddles of all levels. We offer a combination of times for all skill levels to play, beginner lessons, and advanced drills/lessons. For exact times, join our TeamReach using the code YSML9622 Our 5 outdoor courts with asphalt and rubber combination cushion are in the process of being built, and will be open by early Fall!
