Come play pickleball at Windy Shores in Aransas Pass, TX! There are 4 outdoor acrylic, hard, and concrete courts. These are dedicated courts with permanent lines and nets. Court Availability Unless otherwise scheduled by Coastal Bend Pickleball, all courts operate under **Open Play**. Clinics, leagues, lessons, tournaments, or other special events will be announced in advance by **Ruben Zuniga** or **Coastal Bend Pickleball Ambassador Charles Dupray.** --- Windy Shores Open Play Rotation: **"Losers Rotate. Winners Separate."** When players are waiting: * Games are played to **11 points, win by 2**, unless otherwise announced. * **The losing team rotates off the court.** * **The winning team separates, with each winning player partnering one of the next two players waiting in the paddle queue.** * The next two players enter the paddle queue order. * After each game, all players should place their paddles back in the queue if they wish to continue playing. This rotation system keeps games moving, encourages players to meet new partners, promotes balanced competition, and ensures everyone has an opportunity to play. If courts are not full and no players are waiting, participants are welcome to continue playing without rotating. Court Courtesy: * Welcome players of all ages and skill levels. * Display good sportsmanship at all times. * Respect Windy Shores residents by keeping noise to a reasonable level. * Help keep the courts clean and dispose of trash properly. * No abusive language, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct will be tolerated. * Leave the courts in the same condition you found them. Safety: Players participate at their own risk. Please warm up properly, stay hydrated, and be mindful of your physical limitations and weather conditions.
