J L Suttle Pickleball Complex is one of the most popular places to play pickleball in Shelby, NC. There are 12 outdoor hard courts. These are dedicated courts with permanent lines and nets. Amenities include restrooms and lights. The courts are free. You can’t reserve the courts. This is now pickleball only with 12 dedicated courts. They did have two tennis courts with pickleball lines painted over. This complex is owned by Cleveland County Schools and operated by the Pickleball Association of Cleveland County (PACC). Donor names and sponsors are listed.
Courts are typically open for play, but the Pickleball Association of Cleveland County (PACC) may close some or all of the courts for PACC fundraising events. PACC events are posted on the Events page at www.PACCtheCourts.com. PACC membership is not required to play at the courts, but members receive early notification and access to events.
