Taylor Gervais picked up pickleball as a way to improve his health – and never looked back. He’s now a dedicated player, coach, and tournament organizer. A self-described paddle junkie, Taylor’s tested dozens of paddles and brings his passion for gear and community to everything he does at Pickleheads.
Taylor Gervais
I was born and raised in Springville, Utah. I had started struggling health wise a little over three years ago. I was obese and was on blood pressure medication at 28. I realized I needed to make a life change so I could be healthier. It just so happened one of my friends was starting a pickleball group that played every Wednesday evening at that time and he invited me. After about two weeks of that I realized just one day a week was not enough for my pickleball fix and I started playing everyday and never looked back. Today I am 67 pounds lighter and still enjoying pickleball just as much!
Coming up through the ranks of pickleball I have always been a paddle junkie. If there was a new paddle, I was trying it out and learning as much as I could about everything there was to do about paddles. I love this opportunity that I have share my enthusiasm and knowledge with my fellow pickleheads.
